Job Description:

To oversee marketing activities to increase brand awareness and communications promotions for Santiburi Koh Samui and SAii Koh Samui Choengmon. This role it to support on marketing coordination, coordinating influencer/media visits at the resort, content creation, and managing social media platforms.

KEY RESULT AREAS

  • Have a good understanding of marketing and be able to execute or implement ideas or knowledge to support sales and marketing business functions.
  • Works closely with marketing communication managers and related operational departments and properties to get theinformation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, social media platforms, and some design tools.
  • Enjoys working collaboratively as a key team player with a can-do attitude and demonstrates ability to interact effectively with various team.
  • Strong communication skills in all areas of writing, listening and speaking English.
  • Able to think analytically and critically when faced with unique opportunities and challenges, prioritizing and identifying productive solutions.
  • Obtain input from managers to ensure that the content meet brand expectations, express ideas accurately, and represent the company or client appropriately.
  • Update and maintain internal databases of content, photography, and video, based on best practices for using a content management system within team.
  • Work independently as well as cooperatively with sales and marketing team, operations team to meet deadlines, stay within budget, and schedule project implementation based on workload, which may include five or more simultaneous projects.
  • Create engaging content for marketing channels, highlighting the unique offerings of both properties.
  • Engage with guests on social media platforms, excluding review management.
  • Coordinate marketing communication (marcom) requests from various departments and collaborate with graphic designers.
  • Manage social media accounts, including posting content, content planning, and engagement.
  • Monitor and engage with user-generated content (UGC)
  • Produce video stories showcasing the experiences and promotions.
  • Generate monthly performance reports for social media metrics.
  • Track and analyze Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and user-generated content (UGC) relevant to the properties.
  • Conduct market research, provide industry insights, and monitor competitor marketing strategies.
  • Support on Marketing function where required.

  • Reports for duty punctually, always wearing the correct uniform and name tag.
  • Always maintains complete confidentiality regarding the content of personnel files.
  • Always maintains a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene.
  • Attends all training schedule, even if this should fall outside of regular working hours.
  • Any other reasonable tasks as directed by the management.

OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY

  • Identify and control all aspects of risk management and implement strategies to minimize incidents and accidents in your working area.
  • Wear protective clothing, masks, equipment, and utensils to ensure the department is operating with minimal risks to yourself and others.

  • Study and use safe manual handling techniques for each machine at all times.

NOTE

– Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by Santiburi Koh Samui from time to time, is

essential to successful performance of this position. Employees with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up

to and including termination of employment. Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to

work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel.

– Upon employment, all employees are required to fully comply with hotel rules and regulation for the safe and efficient

operation of the hotel facilities. Employees who violate Hotel rules and regulations will be subject to disciplinary action including

termination of employment.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Marketing, communication, Arts, or related discipline.

Experience:

  • At least three years of proven experience in marketing, social media management, and content creation.

Essential Job Skills:

  • Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills
  • Proficiency in social media platforms
  • Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and presentation skills.
  • Creative Thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in both Thai and English
  • Experience in create/design marketing & branding materials including, but not limited to, advertisements, collateral, signage, and presentations that reflect the brand’s image and style.

Desirable Job Skills:

  • Three years of experience in marketing & PR, social media, or digital marketing in a hotel or marketing agency industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in graphic design, art, or related discipline.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure and under own initiative. Willing to learn new things with can-do attitudes.
  • Commitment to deliver a high level of customer service.
